Myanmar is located in South East Asia bordering the People’s Republic of
China on the North and North East, Laos on the East, Thailand on the South
East, Bangladesh on the West and India on the North West. It is also
strategically located between South Asia and South East Asia. More
interestingly, Myanmar is sandwiched between the two most populous nations in
the World– China and India. Bangladesh, 5 times smaller in size with a population
3 times larger than Myanmar, is another of her neighbours. The former, unlike
Myanmar is not blessed with abundant natural resources, in addition to which
she has the misfortune to be battered by natural disasters almost every year

Upon arrival at
Sittwe airport by flight, warmly welcome by Road To Mrauk-U Transportation
Agent and transfer to Jetty to take an impressive boat trip by ROAD TO
Mrauk-u’s boat (with European Standard toilet, easy chair facilities on board )
and you are welcome with refreshing towel, drinking one can Myanmar Beer or one
Cocacola with Seasonal Fruites (72 Km) about 5-6 hours journey upriver to the
last royal capital of Rakhine Kingdom, Mrauk-U. As per request, lunch on boat
is arranged with river life and amazing sunset from Boat.). Upon arrival at
Mrauk-U, you are welcome and transfer to hotel.

After breakfast at
the hotel, morning visit Min KhaungShweDuPagoda, Pesi pagoda with 5 stone
Buddha images on the hillock, then the 16th century temple of Koethaungtemple
known as 90000 Buddha images temple, walk through Alay Zee village to discover
the traditional making hats, mats, baskets, fans making home industriesLeksekan
Lake with city wall &gate, drinking water supplying lake for dwellers and Sandamuni Bronze Casting Buddha Image &
monastery likes small collecting museum. Then lunch break time (own
arrangement) and rest your hotel. After Lunch walk through the maze like the
Shithaung temple, known as 80000 Buddha images enshrined, built in 1535 with
sand stone, looks like fortress with interior tunnel and stone carving relief,
the adjacent Andaw Thein temple, RadanabonPagodaand proceed to Htukan Thein Temple and Lay Myat
Hnar ( Four sided Temple ). Enjoy the sunset from the Haritaung pagoda where
one can see the very wonderful overview looking around Mrauk-U and back to your
hotel and overnight in Mrauk-U.

After breakfast at
hotel, morning depart for NannKyar village and jetty by car about 30 minutes
and then 3 hours sailing up by boat along very fantastic scenery up stream Lay
Myo river to KritChaung Chin village. Visit around the village to discover very
wonderful Chin ladies with tattooed faces with very beautiful exciting scorpion
web Tattooed pattern and their simple ways of life. Then proceed to PannPaung
Chin village to discover some more Chin Tattooed ladies. Lunch in Chin village.
After lunch return back downstream 2:30 hours and drive back then to hotel.

Early morning check
out &transfer to jetty and board on your boat to return back to Sittwe.
Upon arrival in Sitwe, if time permit, about visit View Point by the Bay of
Bengal and detour Lawkarnada Pagoda &Satkyamuni Buddha Image on the way to
Sittwe domestic airport for the flight back to Yangon.
